Moschino AW14

Jeremy Scott

Pop culture meets classic Moschino...

The latest offering from Moschino is certainly very interesting, with influences taken very literally from popular US brands and characters- Sponge bob, Hersheys, McDonalds and more. There are also all of the elements you would expect to see from a Moschino collection- gold chains, leather, pale denim and thick belts. Chanel is also referenced in the McDonalds inspired looks which, I am surprised to find, I like quite a lot.

Jeremy Scott has shown that  fashion doesn't always have to be serious and has created a collection  that will certainly be remembered. All we need now is to see a fruit-loop-packaging inspired dress on the red carpet.

Pastel Lemon, Sheer Nudes, Patchwork Fur, Metallic Puffers, Undone, Pointed Shoes

'A palette of buttermilk, ginger, chestnut and champagne tones featured alongside offbeat pops of royal blue and scarlet' - Topshop blog, Inside-Out

'Rebellious school girl. Fresh easy and cool.' - Topshop blog, Inside-Out

'Made for the achingly cool girl that was well equipped to face the winter chill.' - Topshop blog, Inside-Out

Topshop Unique has been my favourite show to watch every six months since I started watching the shows (on-line) a couple of years back. I am, as is probably obvious from my outfit posts, a big fan of Topshop as a brand and their designs are always spot on.

This collection is no different with its stunning colour palette, unexpected shapes, 'achingly cool' styling and gorgeous textures. Everything you would want from a show and more.
